This policy explains how Return to Your Rhythm ("we", "us") handles data on this website and in Return to Your Rhythm Studio, the private tool we use to manage our own YouTube channel.
This website
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, tracking pixels or contact forms. We do not collect personal data from visitors. All fonts, images, video and audio are served from this website itself. Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard technical server logs, such as IP address and time of request, for security; we do not use them to identify visitors.
Spotify player. The Spotify player on the home page only loads when you click "Load Spotify player". From that moment Spotify may set cookies and process data under the Spotify Privacy Policy.
Links. Links to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Instagram and Buy Me a Coffee open those services, where their own privacy policies apply.
Return to Your Rhythm Studio and YouTube data
Return to Your Rhythm Studio is used only by the Return to Your Rhythm team, for our own YouTube channel. It is not available to the public. When we sign in with our Google account, Return to Your Rhythm Studio may access:
- Channel and video information (YouTube Data API): channel name, list of our uploads, video titles and durations.
- Channel and video statistics (YouTube Analytics and Reporting API): views, watch time, average view duration, likes, subscribers gained or lost, traffic sources, impressions and click-through rate.
- Video uploads (YouTube Data API): uploading our own videos with title, description, tags and settings, only after we approve each video.
How we use this data
We use this data only to understand how our own videos perform and to publish our own videos. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties. We do not access data of other YouTube users or channels.
Return to Your Rhythm Studio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and security
Statistics and sign-in credentials are stored locally on our own computer, outside of any shared or public location, and are never published. Sign-in credentials are used only to talk to Google's services on our behalf.
Retention and deletion
We keep statistics as long as they are useful to evaluate our videos, and delete them when they are no longer needed. Access can be revoked at any time via Google account permissions; after revoking, Return to Your Rhythm Studio can no longer access any YouTube data and stored credentials are deleted.
YouTube and Google
Return to Your Rhythm Studio uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. See also the Google Privacy Policy.
